Awkward Movements...

The last six months has seen Awkward Movements bring in radio professionals along with DJs and emcees to work alongside the already solid stable of original artists. Stretching their wings even further, creatives ranging from graphic designers to graffiti artists also count themselves as part of the Awk Mo family.

Never straying far from their bass heavy roots, the DJs have embraced the technical side of dubstep like none other – but retained the skills to please the masses and turn out the party. Dubs and one-offs are never far from the bag. Beats, hip-hop, tech, wobbles and bass going across all styles steeped in the signature sound the crew deliver.

With the stark realisation that their guerrilla parties eventually lead to criminal records and a loss of gear, Awkward Movements is moving the parties legit. Enter their debut indoors night - a collaboration with their online radio home, Sensei.fm, at a venue that both factions know and love, 3 Blind Mice in Liverpool street.

With recent activities closing bigger nightclubs (where the trends turn in to fashions) and underground hotspots (where the scenes turn in to trends), Sensei and Awk Mo are integrally in support of the most underrated spot in London, where the parties have come and gone and always be memorable.

The lineup on the night’s big. Dodger Man, who gained international recognition playing Bloc Festival earlier in the year, is set to headline the night, supported by London’s favourite DJ hustler Kamikaze B2B with crew, Rokem, Ray Nulds and label chiefs Liam Curran & Keith P. Hosted by Crumb on the mic, this is guaranteed to be a memorable weekend event at the intimate venue that is 3 Blind Mice.

The whole jam will be streamed live worldwide on Sensei.FM.
